Guido Spannocchi “Kammermusik” Album Release Show @ World Heart Beat Embassy Gardens
Guido Spannocchi celebrates the release of his new album
“Kammermusik” (Chamber Music) which combines idioms of classical chamber
music with contemporary jazz and exotica. Born in Vienna Guido grew up
exposed to the Viennese tradition of classical music and studied at the
renowned conservatoire of Vienna as well as Université Paris VIII before
moving to London and becoming a full time jazz musician. Since 2017
Spannocchi’s focus is his original music which has resulted in the
release of numerous albums and extensive touring, constantly developing
his style he moves from hard bop to free jazz, nods to exotica and is
now mostly writing and playing chamber music. The ensemble consists of
Spannocchi’s longest collaborators and friends, a group of musicians who
have similarly been educated in classical and jazz with James Larter on
vibraphone, Danny Keane on cello and Jay Darwish on double bass. The
album will be released on 24.April and will be available online, on
vinyl LP and CD, this special show at the state of the art concert hall
of World Heart Beat Academy presents a unique moment to enjoy the album
being played live and in full in a wonderful concert hall.
