Dominic is a powerful communicator and performer — a pioneering violinist, vocalist, and a composer of captivating original music. He has toured extensively across the UK with his quartet, performing at renowned venues and festivals including Ronnie Scott’s, Love Supreme, the Royal Albert Hall, and the EFG London Jazz Festival. His debut album, Role Models, was released to critical acclaim. The record features a compelling suite of lucidly crafted, characterful pieces that reflect Dominic’s distinctive and highly personal style—deeply rooted in his background in folk and classical music. In 2020, Dominic was nominated for a Parliamentary Jazz Award for Jazz Newcomer and was a finalist in the prestigious Zbigniew Seifert International Jazz Violin Competition. He currently teaches Jazz Violin at Chetham’s School of Music and Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. With echoes of Chet Baker in his delivery, Dominic is joined by Sam Quintana—one of the North’s most in-demand jazz bassists.
