Rooted in the jazz tradition yet shaped by influences from soul and Brazilian music, her work balances storytelling, groove and improvisation with a strong sense of identity. A graduate of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, Francesca has performed at leading venues including Ronnie Scott’s, the Barbican and the 606 Club, as well as internationally across Europe and Asia. Alongside her work as a performer, she is an educator and Vocal Leader at ICMP London. Her quartet brings together a group of highly regarded musicians from the London scene, creating a sound that is both intimate and dynamic. The music moves fluidly between reimagined standards, groove-led arrangements and original material, with a focus on interplay and spontaneity. Joined by Chris Bland (piano), Jack Turnbull (electric bass) and Fabio Poian (drums), the quartet offers a fresh and engaging take on the small ensemble format, combining sensitivity, energy and musical depth.
