The Hybrid Sessions is a monthly jam at Matt & Phred’s, inspired by cutting-edge electronic artists like Floating Points, Maribou State, Thom Yorke, and Jojo Mayer. What sets The Hybrid Sessions apart is its unique fusion of live music with electronic production. Musicians and singers have the chance to deconstruct and reshape digital sounds in real-time, pushing boundaries and exploring new ways to create. More of a listener than a player? No problem! Come along, kick back, and enjoy the night unfolding… The music you hear has never been heard before and never will again… Whether you’re into jazz, drum and bass, or anything in between, this is your chance to experience -and be part of -the future of live music. Hosted by artist and producer Laurie Agnew, these sessions are a creative playground for all musicians to take improvisation to a new dimension.
