About

At last a spacious and cool venue for jazz in York City Centre every Thursday evening. Featuring a roster of great live jazz quartets including Kate Peters, Karl Mullen and James Lancaster the Thursday Night Jazzualty is the place to hang out in town on a Thursday night. Live music from 9pm till midnight then drink amazing cocktails till 5am and you will become a Thursday Night Jazzualty

Built in 1640, our Grade II* listed timber framed pub is a picture postcard example of what makes York so special. Spread over three floors we have an assortment of spaces perfect for groups both large and small and with a variety of private hire options available, the Eagle and Child is great for any celebration. All of our food is homemade and freshly prepared, and we work closely with local suppliers to keep our dishes as seasonal and interesting as possible. The Rolling Stones hung out in our top floor bar in the 60s- their signatures in lipstick are still on the wall!
