About

BRACKNELL JAZZ brings some the UK’s foremost jazz musicians to perform with a resident rhythm section at South Hill Park Arts Centre, a fine 18th century mansion set in rolling parkland. The gigs take place in the beautiful Recital Room, which boasts a superb Steinway model ‘D’ grand piano.

Bracknell Jazz takes place one Friday evening each month. The evening begins at 7:30 with a curtain raiser / warm-up band (usually featuring younger performers – please check www.bracknelljazz.co.uk for details). The featured artist takes over from 8 pm. Tickets are £10 (£5 for under 18s), and can be booked through the SHP Box Office: 01344 868382. The Cafe Atrium (set on the terrace, with fine views of the grounds) serves bistro style meals. Drinks can be taken up to the Recital Room.

BRACKNELL JAZZ YOUNG MUSICIANS
We are thrilled to announce that Bracknell Jazz is now promoting a parallel series of Bracknell Jazz YOUNG MUSICIANS gigs one weekday evening each month. We feature some of the incredibly talented younger performers who have played a supporting role at Bracknell Jazz gigs, giving them the opportunity to really stretch out, and show their mettle.

Bracknell Jazz is organized by Simon Cook, who is also the house pianist.
