Glasgow’s Walt Disco, are set to release their second album, “The Warping,” on June 14th via Lucky
Number. Following the success of their debut album, “Unlearning,” the band’s latest single, “You
Make Me Feel So Dumb,” offers a taste of the album’s dynamic energy—a cynical disco anthem
inspired by the social burnout of networking.
Fresh off a 2-month European and UK tour supporting OMD, Walt Disco plan to take on North
America with another tour later in the year alongside the electronic pop pioneers. The album,
written on both sides of the Atlantic, transcends personal struggles, exploring themes of change,
growth, and gender dysphoria with radical honesty.
Produced in collaboration with Chris McCrory, “The Warping” introduces a new sonic dimension to
Walt Disco’s signature style, incorporating horns, woodwind, and swelling string sections. The band’s
cinematic glam, enriched by classically trained orchestral musicians, takes listeners on a journey of
vulnerability and self-discovery.
