Sunday Sounds: Jeremy Chan Lunchtime Recital 7 September 2025 @ Burgh House

Burgh House presents Sunday Sounds , our recital series showcasing emerging musicians. Programme to be announced. Jeremy Chan Jeremy Chan is an award-winning concert pianist based in London, who recently graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with a master’s degree and a concert recital diploma. In 2023 and 2024, Jeremy won both the Guildhall’s Beethoven Piano Prize and its Romantic Piano Prize. He also won second place at the Tunbridge Wells International Music Competition. In July 2023, he made his concerto debut with the London City Orchestra , playing Rachmaninov’s second piano concerto, at Sinfonia Smith Square . In the summer of 2023, he was invited to work with pianist Angela Hewitt for a week in Italy. As an avid writer, Jeremy writes regularly on his blog, Literally Left-handed , which enjoys a wide readership, and has been publishing concert reviews and interviews with musical personalities. He is also a critic for Seen and Heard International , for which he has written numerous concert reviews.
