Guildford Jazz anchor and founder Marianne Windham, recently awarded the Services to Jazz Award in the Parliamentary Jazz Awards, bring the bass to the fore to explore the role of the bass in the history of jazz and the bass players who have influenced her playing and her musical journey.With the brilliant STEVE LODDER on piano, and MARTIN PYNE on drums.The lunchtime jazz is held in the Cafe at the Guildford Institute, which boasts a baby grand piano as well as delicious food.
