This new trio brings together Grammy-winning pianist Kris Davis, gayageum virtuoso DoYeon Kim, and drummer Tom Rainey, drawing on personal languages shaped by jazz, contemporary classical music, and Korean musical traditions. The trio creates a fluid, textural sound world where composed material and free improvisation coexist. The music unfolds through shifting textures, rhythmic elasticity, and collaboration that transcends cultural and stylistic boundaries. This tour is supported by Next Jazz Legacy, a grant dedicated to mentoring women artists.
