Blending the sounds of Afro, Funk, Blues, Soul, Latin and Jazz into the Dancefloor. Kyazi Lugangira, creator of Kihaya Blues, is a Tanzanian singer songwriter, composer and guitarist. Love, relationships, politics and hope, are the core topics within the lyrics sang in Kihaya, the language of Kyazi’s tribe, the Bahaya people from Kahera Tanzania. Following the release of the debut studio album ” Abantu Bange” (Our Humanity) we look forward to hearing them at Jazztrain Shoreditch.
