Jazz Sabbath is a jazz trio from Great Britain that plays new jazz arrangements of Black Sabbathsongs. Although the band presents itself as a jazz trio founded in 1968 and the original authors ofthe tracks later made famous by Black Sabbath. Helmed by pianist Adam Wakeman (Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne since 2004), Jazz Sabbathexplores the boundaries between jazz and the songs that defined heavy metal, revisiting existingjazz riffs and discovering new ones.
