Returning to the club after nearly two years, the Quintet plays original compositions by saxophonist Jack Pearce which pay homage to jazz traditions while injecting a fresh, inventive spirit, with a strong sense of the rock music Jack grew up on. Consisting of Leeds Conservatoire Alumni, the quintet combines melodic and technical excellence, with Jascha Bingham (piano), Sam Hughes (guitar), Dan Sanderson (bass) and Angus Haygarth (drums). £12.
