Renowned saxophonist Geoff Simkins is one of the UK’s most respected jazz musicians. He has gained a reputation as a masterful improviser, with a style built on the tradition of the great linear improvisers. A prolific bandlear and sideman, he has worked alongside jazz greats including Farmer, Bobby Shew, Al Cohn, Tal Farlow, Slide Hampton and Warren Vache. Joining Geoff for this concert are three of the finest young jazz musicians on the UK scene, guitarist Tom Ollendorff, bassist Conor Chaplin and drummer Corrie Dick.
