On Wednesday 23 September 2026 — the 100th birthday of John Coltrane and the autumn equinox — saxophonist Craig Crofton returns to the Glass Studio for a very special centenary celebration honouring one of the most influential and spiritually profound artists of the twentieth century. The Craig Crofton Quartet features an outstanding international lineup, and are joined by the acclaimed vocalist and trumpet player Marvin Muoneké. They’ll be performing selections from the legendary John Coltrane & Johnny Hartma* album — bringing warmth, intimacy, and soulful contrast to an evening that will also venture into the more exploratory and deeply spiritual side of Coltrane’s music.
