Bitchin Bajas (Drag City / USA) + Degurutieni (Voodoo Rhythm / Japan) @ Strange Brew
click to share
Incredible Chicago-based instrumental trio making hypnotically deep, Krautrock-inspired music spanning ambient drone, space jazz and cosmic minimalism. Plus an oddball treat in the form of Japan’s Degurutieni – a one-man weirdo band using guitar, ghostly vocals, toys, cassettes and other junk to create a dark & exotic jazz club mood in the style of David Lynch or Cronenberg. Poetic, strange and little creepy. Limited seating available in rows at the front – first come first served!
