Named after a Celtic pirate legend, Aruba Red creates music inspired by healing and transformation. Global influences, signature rich vibrato tinged in experimental folk, spiritual pop and mystical dub. Join Aruba for an exclusive performance of her upcoming album ‘Latent Echo’. This concert will be the first opportunity to experience this album performed live in its entirety. Aruba has held residencies at London’s Roundhouse, Southbank Centre and was commissioned to create a piece celebrating 150 years of the Royal Albert Hall. She has produced events at The Gibson Garage, Tileyard and Home House. Aruba features on several of Nitin Sawhney’s albums and has collaborated with artists including Riz Ahmed, Maverick Sabre, Plan B, Fat Freddy’s Drop, Xavier Rudd, Ayanna Witter-Johnson, Natty and Phil Manzanera of Roxy Music. ‘Latent Echo’ is a raw insight into Aruba’s candid storytelling, alongside the world-class musicianship of Ivor Novello award-winning composer Renell Shaw and sound wizard Camilo Tirado .
