Lauded jazz and Scottish folk pianist presents new work for piano trio. Four movements, each with different pacing, reflect the motion of birds in flight. Mercury-shortlisted and widely acclaimed artist, Fergus McCreadie introduces a new work for classical piano trio, Flight Pass , co-commissioned by Chamber Music Scotland and Kings Place London. Inspired by the landscapes and narratives at the heart of his musical world, it marks an exciting evolution in his writing. He explores beyond his signature folk-jazz style into a new chamber setting as in four movements he tells the story of birds in flight.
