Flower Face is the moniker of Montreal’s Ruby McKinnon, a songwriter and visual artist whose catalogue – Fever Dreams (2017), Baby Teeth (2018), The Shark in Your Water (2022), and Girl Prometheus (2024) – traces her evolution from self-produced bedroom goth-folk to cinematic, genre-defying indie. Praised by Stereogum and Paste as one of today’s most vital emerging voices, she crafts music that transforms heartbreak and resilience into something timeless, intimate, and otherworldly.
