Marla Kether (Full Live Band) @ The Lower Third
click to share
**One of the UK’s most exciting new musical voices, Marla Kether brings her six-piece live band and a deep, genre-blurring groove to the stage.**
Blending jazz, funk, soul, UK funky and Brazilian influences, the London-born bassist, producer and DJ has carved out a sound that moves effortlessly between the dancefloor and the pocket.
With her new EP *Luso* landing on 16 October via Strut Records, Marla enters a major new chapter.
Already a sought-after session bassist for Little Simz, Loyle Carner, Yazmin Lacey, Oscar Jerome and Obongjayar, her own productions have earned acclaim from Bandcamp Daily, DJ Mag and Gilles Peterson.
Presented by Jazz Cafe Presents | Columbo Music.
