Unsound London – Night 1 Lorenzo Senni RP Boo & Gary Gwadera with Polish oberek and Chicago Footwork dancers Aleksandra Słyż presents Ruins Opening a 3-day Unsound Festival residency at ICA, trance pointillist Lorenzo Senni presents a new live show with stage and lighting design by Bianca Peruzzi. Footwork pioneer RP Boo and percussionist Gary Gwadera explore the meeting point between Chicago bass and the Polish oberek, performing alongside Polish folk dancers Maria Stępień and Andrzej Józefczyk, and Chicago footwork dancers Tiger and Martina Lieskovska. This show is presented with Tropical Waste. Polish composer and sound artist Aleksandra Słyż presents the world premiere of Ruins, a research-based project pulling fragments of the past into the present.
