The sublime melodies and unique atmosphere of Nick Drake’s songs will be explored by guitar-bass-drums trio St Jude and the Hopeless Causes, joined by guests who have played the club in various bands including our NJG spots: Dylan Riley (guitar), Elijah Welsh (bass), Moses Carpenter (drums), Adam Carpenter (piano), Murray Robinson (tenor sax) and Jacob Robinson (alto sax).

Not many jazz clubs can claim to have promoted jazz fifty nights a year for forty years. Dennis Hitch, Bob Walker and Mike Gordon, the original trio, were just looking for somewhere to play and that’s how Scarborough Jazz started.
