Esteemed composer and multi-instrumentalist Andy Hague leads the Adam Stokes Quintet in a tribute to the great trumpet player and composer Kenny Wheeler. Canadian born but resident in the UK since the 1950s, Wheeler’s hauntingly beautiful yet harmonically challenging compositions are studied in music colleges around the world. Andy studied with Kenny Wheeler in 1988 and will be providing the group with some of Wheeler’s original handwritten charts.
