Two star saxophonists lead the band today at the JC… Derek Nash needs little introduction: he is one of the most popular sax men in the country, starring in the Jools Holland Orchestra and leading a plethora of bands of his own. He’s joined by versatile saxophonist Simon Bates, who makes his debut at the JCUK today. Simon is a captivating saxophonist whose soulful melodies and electrifying performances have entertained audiences worldwide. Simon weaves together elements of jazz, funk, and contemporary styles, creating a unique and exhilarating sound. Simon runs his own Jazz Club, Big Band and several small ensembles including the Simon Bates Organ Trio.
