American pianist and composer Darius Brubeck makes a welcome return to St George’s after a number of years with his beloved, internationally acclaimed quartet. Darius Brubeck piano Dave O’Higgins saxophones Matt Ridley bass Wesley Gibbens drums Brubeck, whilst committed to his father’s legacy, is a sophisticated artistic presence in his own right. His quartet bring a deep musical rapport to their material, playing a mix of original compositions and classic standards. Playful, adventurous, refined – a special evening of jazz.
