2024 BBC Young Jazz Musician of the Year, bassist URSULA HARRISON, together with rising star vocalist SYLVIE NOBLE bring their intimate and exploratory contemporary jazz/folk to Swanage. This gig will take place in The Studio at The Mowlem Theatre, Shore Road, Swanage, BH19 1DD. Ticket link below Sylvie and Ursula (who played a memorable gig at SoundCellar Poole in 2024, alongside SoundCellar Mowlem jazz legend Eddie Gripper), first met on the vibrant South-Wales jazz scene, bonding over a shared love of both jazz and folk music. Recording their debut album ‘New Eve’ in summer 2025, the subsequent year has seen them embrace a collective approach to story telling, both bringing original compositions and lyrics to the project. Their sound combines deep, earthy grooves, light dancing melodies and powerful swing.
