Taking place one Saturday a month in our foyer, Saturday Sessions are free, live concerts provided by local performers from a wide range of genres. This month, join Peppercorn Cartel on a new phase of their creative journey, fusing old-time blues, country, folk and gypsy jazz to create their own unique roots-based organic sound. Expect quirky original tunes full of heart, humour and insight with the occasional classy cover thrown in. Jeremy Colbeck and Roger Lightbown started the project some 10 years ago with a focus on improvisation and songwriting alongside musicians drawn in for sessions and occasional gigs. Hearing the material, Mervyn Wallis saw the potential and joined the duo along with Dave Lewney, Mike Keech and Rick Irvine. The current line-up of this Shoreham-based collective brings a wealth of talent, experience and varied musicianship honed in countless local bands. The bar and café will be open for drinks, lunches and snacks. Entry is FREE but ticketed, and capacity is limited. Book early to secure your place!
