Regents Opera roars back into life with a concert of typically epic magnitude! Following their critically acclaimed Ring Cycle earlier this year, they open their 2025-26 season with two late Romantic masterpieces -Richard Wagner’s Siegfried Idyll and Gustav Mahler’s mighty Symphony no.2 ‘Resurrection’ . Regents Opera have made their name by performing operatic works of the grandest scale and this opening concert will set the tone for another season of spectacular music making. Stars of the Ring Cycle , Catharine Woodward and Mae Heydorn join the expanded Regents Opera orchestra and a chorus of singers from all over the South East, all under the baton of artistic director, Ben Woodward .
