Urban Strings – Geo Popoff & Klaus Falschlunger – Beatbox & Sitar:

One could not imagine such a duo! Beatbox & Indian sitar?

However, what vocalist Geo Popoff, a two-time world beatbox champion, and Klaus Falschlunger, an excellent sitarist, have to offer is astonishing. The two musicians’ pieces are bursting with playfulness and ingenuity. Indian music, hip-hop, folk, pop… but with this line-up everything sounds completely different. It’s a brilliant exchange and collaboration to create and expand any recognisable musical worlds – a dream dance between eastern ballads and explosive, rhythmic elements.
