THE HEALING THAT UNFOLDS THROUGH THE TRACKS IS PHENOMENAL … HER MUSICAL NARRATIVE WILL ASSIST EVERYONE’S JOURNEY FROM DARKNESS TO LIGHT AND FROM DEATH TO IMMORTALITY

–  NEW MUSIC ALERT

ConnectsMusic is always excited to share outstanding and talented musicians with our dedicated audience. This time, we’d like to introduce you to Carla Patullo, a brilliant composer and multi-instrumentalist from Los Angeles, USA. She is best known for her music that blends lush acoustics with layered vocals and experimental electronics.

We listened to some of Carla’s new music from her new album ‘So She Howls’ and we loved it! The hauntingly beautiful ambient sounds resonate from the speakers and draw you in. When you listen to the album, you are experiencing every step of the journey, beginning with a dark sounding opening and ending with a brighter and more hopeful tone.

The album includes nine tracks, all of which centre around the same key concepts: healing, recovery, and adventure. Even though they all share similar themes, each track will transport you into a new ‘immersive mind-state’

ABOUT ‘SO SHE HOWLS’:

The album is a combination of howling vocals, orchestral swells, and electronic pulses, as well as field-recorded sounds from the natural and machine worlds.

As the tracks evolve from haunting soundscapes into uplifting anthems of recovery and resilience, SO SHE HOWLS follows Patullo’s resolute path in seeking healing, and ultimately, adventure.

Featuring performances by the Scorchio Quartet (Martha Mooke, Lorenza Ponce, Frederika Krier, and Leah Coloff), GRAMMY®-winning musician Lili Haydn, and GRAMMY®-nominated vocal ensemble Tonality, Carla Patullo’s latest album, SO SHE HOWLS, is a raw musical journey about grief, healing, and recovery following a life-changing confrontation with death.
