VIVIAN FANG LIU

Jon Samson, declares Vivian Fang Liu’s “songwriting and voice to be equally powerful and deliver multifaceted messaging wrapped in mesmerizing melodies and rhythms for active listeners of any age.”

Vivian Fang Liu is an Award-winning Pianist, Singer, Songwriter, Grammy voting member and Educator. Classically trained pianist Vivian Fang Liu emigrated to New York at age 15. After graduating from NYU, she continued her studies but also began performing and teaching.

We are deeply moved by Vivian Fang Liu’s newly released album ‘ACCENTS OF LOVE’, which is dedicated to her 4 year old niece, who died suddenly, earlier this year. We are eager to share this remarkable work with our community of artists, as Vivian beautifully expresses, ‘’[it’s] about self love and acceptance of others with an open heart’.

Vivian adds,”We can’t control the things that happen in life — but we can choose whether we use our creativity to keep inspiration alive — and so in honor of my precious niece, I share with you now a collection of songs about self love and acceptance of others with an open heart.’’

Vivian has a special place in her heart for one of the album’s tracks, which is called “Talk to the Fishes with Your Inner Voice”.

Vivian shares more thoughts about the first music video of the album:

I had this eye-opening snorkelling experience in Trunk Bay, Virgin Islands. Like the ocean with its hidden layers, life’s complexities are often not what they seem at first glance. That’s why this track is so close to my heart. It’s a nudge to stay open-minded and explore, but also a reminder that finding your inner peace is key to understanding what’s really happening around you.

In addition to being a musical artist, Vivian is most passionate about teaching children. Her students have won international competitions and were invited to perform at Carnegie Hall several times, some of them played concertos with orchestras and performed at Royal Albert Hall in London with the professors from Royal College of Music.

I bring my students to volunteer at senior centers and events often, and hope they learn to never give up, to help heal our society with music and heart.
