The Jolly Huntsman is a privately owned, traditional village freehouse, offering home cooked meals, an excellent range of well kept real ales and ciders, seasonal open log fire and a warm and friendly welcome. We are situated in the peaceful and picturesque village of Kington St Michael, just 2 miles from Junction 17 of the M4 and close to other popular local villages such as Castle Combe, Badminton and Lacock.
The building dates back to the 18th Century and the premises were originally used as The White Horse Brewery in the 19th Century before becoming an inn. One of the old wells, used in the brewing process is still in existence today. The property was re-named as The Jolly Huntsman in the early 1970s.
We are open for dinner every evening from Monday to Saturday and lunch is served on a Saturday and Sunday from 12 Noon to 2pm. Dogs on leads are welcome in the main bar area only.
