The Jam Factory is a new independent bar on Widemarsh Street, Hereford – a watering hole with good vibes and great music in the centre of town. With up-and-coming DJs, live music, and drinks aplenty, everyone will be at home in The Jam Factory.

 

Nearly a century ago, a jam factory took up residence on Widemarsh Street for a number of years. We have honoured this little nugget of Hereford history by redecorating and reimagining the beautiful Georgian building that housed “The Exchange” as The Jam Factory. We have created a fresh, modern, stylish bar where you can be sure to be welcomed with an “Oright!”

 

The Jam Factory have a schedule of varied events with a little something for everyone. We want to highlight the team’s mutual love of music, so you can expect well-curated playlists, regular appearances from local talents as well as visiting artists. You can expect a comprehensive and competitively priced drinks menu featuring great beers, wines and cocktails. Our beers include both draught and bottle options. We are excited to serve an exclusive Jam Factory Tropical IPA on draught, brewed by the exceptional beer wizards at Ludlow Brewery. We are stocking local favourites on the spirit shelf alongside some exotic and unusual staff picks. A cracking list of sustainable wines include some stunning organic numbers. If cocktails are your jam (get it?… never mind) there will be an exciting tipple for you on our cocktail menu. Each cocktail comes with a signature Jam Factory twist. Popping by in the day? Quality cakes and coffees will be readily available.

 

After some delays with getting the kitchen ready at The Jam Factory, we are instead hosting a new street food pop-up at the Butter Market in Hereford – Mariachis. Mariachis is now serving delicious modern Mexican inspired plant-based grub. Fresh, local ingredients and bold flavours are what Mariachi’s are all about, keep an eye out for our bespoke food tastings that we’ll be holding at The Jam Factory. Behind The Jam Factory is a team of people who love this city that we call home. At the helm is a local musician who has dreamt of opening a bar in Hereford for years. This is a passion project that he hopes all Herefordians can be proud of! Fundamental to the mission of The Jam Factory is our commitment to supporting Hereford communities. We believe in creating opportunities and are committed to supporting exciting projects that can help us reach our potential.
