Where

About

Situated on the banks of the River Adur in Shoreham-by-Sea, the Ropetackle Arts Centre is a multi-award-winning, purpose-built venue that attracts some of the biggest stars in the UK and beyond. Our friendly atmosphere, first-class programming and intimate performance space all combine to make every event a memorable one. From live music to comedy, children’s shows to films, workshops and talks to literary events – and all things in-between – there is something to suit all tastes and budgets.
A registered charity that is buoyed by an amazing band of volunteers (including the trustees), Ropetackle is the ultimate entertainment and community hub. We work closely with local schools and colleges, theatre companies, businesses and many other organisations to bring the widest range of arts activities to as many people as possible.
The arts are important for everyone: for children, whose imaginations and language skills are developing, for adults who want to be uplifted and inspired, and of course, for the performers who bring so much talent to each show.
