Marcina Arnold an incredible world class singer and performer her voice is versatile distinctive and highly emotive. Marcina has the goose bump factor when she delivers a song to her audience.
Raised in the UK Marcina’s multi heritage roots are South Africa – Cape Town , Scotland and more in between. Her musical journey traverses Jazz, Blues, Soul, Folk Music, South African Jazz and Gospel, plus popular styles such as Rap, Bossa Nova Batucada and more.
Marcina plays percussion, Guitar and Piano with which she uses to compose. She has sung and collaborated with the Late Great South African Composer, Pianist Bheki Mseleku. Marcina has toured South Africa with Eugene Skeef’s Ngoma Project with her vocal group Shades with performing with voice dance & percussion with appearances on National TV . Her vocal collaborations include recording and live work- Marcina has sung with Steve Williamson, as well she has featured as a percussionist with Azimuth, Mervyn Africa,
Byron Wallen with whom she has recorded for his 1st & 2nd albums- Sound Advice was produced by Brasilian Percussionist Airto Moreira. Other recordings include chart success in Japan with – Jazz Funk groovers band Akimbo. Her voice has featured on recordings with Guitarist Manu Ventura, the South African Gospel Singers led by the late Pinise Saul, Voices of Nature – Exotika.

Jason Yardes Acoustic Bombastic, F’ire Collective, Ricardo Dos Santos, Jonathan Bratoeff, Vannessa Simons, Omar, Jamiroquai, Eric Appapoulay ’s -Synergy,
Cleveland Watkiss, Shlomo, Moropa Drum Orchestra led by Thebe Lipere.
She is one of the lead singers alongside Eska on the classic Quite Sane Album A Child of Troubled Times led by Bassist Anthony Tidd. Her collaborative releases include Far Out Records, P-vine Records, Sony Music. Marcina has performed on MTV awards the BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall,
London Jazz Festival, North Sea Jazz Festival,
Brecon Jazz Festival the London African Music Festival, Barbican, Cheltenham Jazz Festival, and much more.
