Jazz in Laurino è una manifestazione musicale dedicata al jazz che si svolge ai principi di Agosto a Laurino, tipico borgo del Parco Nazionale del Cilento.
Vi prendono parte musicisti italiani e stranieri di rilevanza internazionale.
La manifestazione è caratterizzata dalla qualità dei musicisti e dall’equilibrio fra i generi musicali (jazz, blues, rock, folk ecc.), con una panoramica sugli sviluppi più attuali della scena musicale contemporanea e perseguendo quell’idea di musica totale, cara a tanti musicisti.
I concerti si svolgono all’interno delle antiche mura del Palazzo Ducale (sec VIII) e nel chiostro del Monastero di Sant’Antonio (sec XVI).
Jazz in Laurino non è solo esibizione ma anche didattica musicale.
Contemporaneamente alla manifestazione, infatti, si svolgono Seminari musicali con lezioni di chitarra, batteria, basso, sassofono, pianoforte, voce e tromba.
Jazz in Laurino intende essere un importante momento di aggregazione e svago, di conoscenza delle bellezze naturalistiche e gastronomiche del Parco Nazionale del Cilento, di incontro con le sue realtà storiche ed artistiche.

Jazz in Laurino is a musical event dedicated to jazz that takes place at the beginning of August in Laurino, a typical village of the Cilento National Park.
Italian and foreign musicians of international importance take part.
The event is characterized by the quality of the musicians and the balance between the musical genres (jazz, blues, rock, folk, etc.), with an overview of the most current developments of the contemporary music scene and pursuing that idea of ​​total music, dear to many musicians.
The concerts take place inside the ancient walls of the Palazzo Ducale (8th century) and in the cloister of the Monastery of Sant’Antonio (16th century).
Jazz in Laurino is not only an exhibition but also musical didactics.
At the same time, in fact, musical seminars are held with guitar lessons, drums, bass, saxophone, piano, voice and trumpet.
