Jazz Coop Newcastle

We are a community cooperative set up to support the learning, performance and development of jazz, related music and the arts. Based at the Globe in Newcastle upon Tyne, we are the first cooperative in the UK to own a music venue and education centre. We put on gigs and courses there and at other venues.
REHEARSAL SPACE
The first floor room may be hired for practice and rehearsals.
It costs £9.00 an hour or £7.50 an hour if at least one member of the band is a Jazz.Coop member.
Included in the price is the use of the following equipment:
- PA system (Allen & Heath 18 channel mixer, Studiomaster power amp, Yamaha S115 main speakers, 2 independent monitor channels, 2 Alto SXM 112A monitors, 3x Shure SM58 mic with stands, 1x Shure Beta52a bass drum mic)
- Keyboard (Yamaha CLP535R Clavinova Digital Piano)
- Bass amp (Trace Elliot series 6, 150W, 15″ combo)
- Drumkit with cymbals (Gretch Catalina Jazz with 12” x 8” Tom, 14” x 14” Floor Tom, 18” x 14” Bass Drum, 14” x 5.5” Snare Drum, + Zildjian hi-hat and Istanbul ride, splash and bell)
