Where

About

JAZZ AT BRISTOL MUSIC CLUB — formerly known as FRINGE JAZZ — presents a weekly contemporary jazz session featuring the finest local, national, and international jazz musicians. Located on the junction of Queens Road and St Paul’s Road you have probably walked or driven past many times and not noticed the unusual little Victorian Building that has housed the BMC for over a century. Inside there is a superb, intimate and characterful auditorium with excellent acoustics, comfortable seating, a large stage, a very fine GRAND PIANO and a licenced bar. Since we started the club back in 2012 some truly great musicians have performed at the club: Andy Sheppard, Iain Ballamy, Art Themen, Jim Mullen, John Etheridge, Paul Dunmall, Evan Parker, Jason Rebello, Hans Koller, Alan Barnes, Theo Travis, Dave Newton, James Morton, John Pearce, Partisans, Hamid Drake, Mark Lockheart, Jeff Williams, and many, many more have enthralled full houses. Doors open 7pm, concerts start at 7:30pm.All concerts end at 10pm prompt
