Burgh House presents Sunday Sounds , our recital series showcasing emerging musicians. Join pianist Sin Iong Li for a lunchtime recital featuring pieces by revered composers such as Bach, Chopin, and Debussy. Jardins sous la Pluie Sonata No.3, Op.46 – Dmitry Kabalevsky Tarantella (Années de Pèlerinage II: Venezia e Napoli) – Franz Liszt Sin Iong Li Sin Iong graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree, majoring in piano performance, from King’s College London . Subsequently, she continued her studies and began her master’s degree in piano performance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance , where she studies under Professor Mikhail Kazakevich. During her time at King’s, she achieved the Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music (LRSM) qualification. She has also performed with King’s Modern Music Society Orchestra and has given various solo piano recitals. Sin Iong plays a diverse repertoire ranging from the early works of Bach, Beethoven, Hadyn, and Mozart, to the later compositions of Chopin, Debussy, Dohnányi, Mompou, Prokofiev, Rachmaninoff, and others. Alongside her solo career, she formerly conducted the King’s College Chorus choir. She currently provides piano accompaniment primarily in collaboration with vocalists, which contributes to her well-rounded musicianship. She is active in chamber music, recently participated in the English Song Competition, and formed a piano trio at Trinity Laban. // //
