We are delighted to welcome back Frances Madden, one of Australia’s most talented young performers and songwriters, currently based in London.

Frances has been performing regularly to sold-out crowds across London with her all-star UK band, including here at Crazy Coqs for the EFG London Jazz Festival 2025, as well as the legendary Ronnie Scott’s and a live set appearance on BBC Radio 3’s ‘In Tune’.

Frances​’ unique sound emerged from her roots in the Australian jazz scene and ​combines ​soulful flavours with heartfelt ​and at times ​playful storytelling. Before making the move to the UK two years ago, Frances regularly headlined at leading jazz clubs and festivals in Australia and supported icons on tour, including Dionne Warwick and Gregory Porter.

She received international recognition performing her women’s anthem ‘She Will Rise’ to a global TV audience as the feature entertainment for the Australian Open tennis final.

The evening will feature songs from Frances’ jazz & soul infused EP ‘Next Flight Home’ as well as favourites from her album ‘Beautiful World’ and unique takes on some familiar classics.

‘Next Flight Home’ is Frances’ third studio release and was recorded in London with Grammy Award-winning producer Cameron Craig (Adele, Katie Melua).
