Mozart String Quartet No.4 in C K157 Verdi String Quartet Wolf Italian Serenade Alexander Marks violin Elizabeth Lamberton violin Robert Shepley viola Gethyn Jones cello Mozart wrote his quartet in Milan whilst working on his opera Lucio Silla , whilst Verdi wrote his string quartet in downtime from overseeing an Aida production in Naples.
