Presented by the Joe Hill Quintet, this band features some of the country’s leading jazz musicians, who have worked together for nearly a decade on the European Jazz scene. Expect a variety of classic jazz standards such as So What, Straight No Chaser and Bye Bye Blackbird, as well some re-imagined versions of the pair’s unforgettable tunes. From up-tempo swing and John Coltrane’s unmatched jazz language, to Miles Davis’ iconic muted trumpet sound playing over luscious ballads, this promises to be an evening to remember.
