Dur-Dur Band International revive the joyful, groove-driven sound of the legendary Somali group who helped define East Africa’s funk scene in the 1980s. Formed by original members including bassist Abdillahi “Ujerry” and featuring vocalist Fadumina Hilowle , the London-based eight-piece celebrates the vibrant legacy of Somali funk with a repertoire of classic hits and new arrangements.
