Each piece has been carefully selected to guide the audience on a journey of joy and reflection, showcasing the emotional depth and storytelling power of contemporary songwriting. About The Artists Ross Lorraine is a composer in many genres but has recently been focusing on songwriting and has achieved remarkable success in this arena. In collaboration with Claire Martin, he has produced two albums of his songs, performed by twelve of the top UK singers, including Claire herself. Live performances of his songs have included Ronnie Scott’s and Piano Smithfield. As a pianist and as a singer of his songs, Ross has performed in the London Jazz Festival (The Forge), the Cheltenham Jazz Festival, the Rye Festival, Pizza Express Dean Street, Bull’s Head Barnes, The OSO Barnes, etc. “It has been an absolute joy to work with Ross Lorraine… Each of Ross’s songs has a distinct personality… unique and original songs…” Claire Martin OBE Steph Goodwin is a London-based jazz singer whose soulful voice and captivating performances have been enchanting audiences in and around London. Steph has been a regular performer at the Pheasantry Jazz Club, selling out audiences both as a solo artist and as part of an a cappella vocal jazz group. She has regularly played with some of the UK’s greatest jazz musicians, including pianist John Crawford and bass player Andy Hamil. Steph has made several recordings with Grammy-nominated musician and producer Mike Stevens. This includes a duet with Marc Almond in 2023. Paul Southern graduated from Cambridge with a maths degree prior to launching his music career. Paul is much in demand playing regularly at Toulouse Lautrec, the Pheasantry, the OSO Barnes, the Bull’s Head and Jazz After Dark—an exciting and accomplished musician.
