About
The name reflects the shop’s location: Morocco Street. The area used to be famous for both its tanneries and its printing industry. Moroccan leather was some of the finest quality out there, historically used for binding books, which is very fitting for our store!
Events are at the core of Morocco Bound, filling up our weekend calendar and drawing in curious passersby.
Our regular weekly events at Morocco Bound include:
Monday Poetry Writing Workshop; Wednesday Poetry Open; Mic; Thursday Jazz Nights; Monthly Book Club; Monthly Quiz Nights; Monthly Bottled Up Writing Workshop.
We also have live gigs every weekend, from various artists. Most sets are stripped back, experimental, traditional, a little bit different, and always exceptionally good.
