About

Since 1997 Yellow Arch has been operating successfully as a recording studio, equipment hire, teaching studio and live music venue. We have established a great reputation as a key player in the music industry both in Sheffield and throughout the UK and beyond. Most famously as the birthplace of Arctic Monkeys, the studio has produced albums buy a diverse range of artists including Richard Hawley, Jarvis Cocker, Duane Eddy, Kylie Minogue, Wayne Hussey and many many more; with a strong working relationship with the BBC, BMG, PRS, EMI, SONY, UNIVERSAL & WARNER BROS. Yellow Arch Studios is listed in The Guardian as one of the top five places for a night out. On 7th February 2015 we opened our doors as a full time licenced venue, and we haven’t looked back since. We cater for everything from gigs, open mics and raves to private functions, such as birthdays and weddings. We also provide the facilities for Service Away Days and corporate functions. There is a cafe & bar, main venue space and a secluded courtyard with marquee, seating and heaters.
Yellow Arch provides a facility for hundreds of local bands to meet and record whilst offering placements and training to students, and supports and assists local community projects and charities.
With a bar license and the operational facilities available, we are one of the only buildings in Europe where people can write, record, perform and film, all finished off with a pint, under the same roof!
