So, by day we sell the finest coffee and deli quality sandwiches. We have a large, interactive children’s area and masses of space for all ages to sit and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere.

In the evening, we become an arts venue – hosting gigs, exhibitions, film screenings and plentiful artistic occurrences. Please see our website or in house promotional material to see what’s coming up. And we keep on serving food and coffee too.

But, underpinning all this, the Cafe is an employability project for young people. We work with disadvantaged young people on a program of work experience, formal and non-formal training and never forget that our young volunteers are our primary reason for being. Sometimes our customers do, so please remember the person serving you is most likely a volunteer, here for their own development and you can play a role in that.

And finally, upstairs…. a creative space for the arts, providing further opportunities for the development and progression of our young volunteers. This is our ideas workshop
