LEUVEN JAZZ

‘Leuven Jazz’ used to be part of city festival ‘Kulturama’. As it grew in scope and ambition however, it became clear that the jazz festival was large enough to become its own proper festival. In 2013, the time had come to go solo.
Two editions later, visitors can discern the unique trifecta that makes ‘Leuven Jazz’ such a success: plenty of international stars, a healthy dose of local talent as well as a wide range of jazz-related activities (from jazz movies and expos to jazz literature).
This ensures that the festival is accessible to a wide audience, from experienced jazz aficionados to curious newcomers.
