The Civic Hall is a multi-purpose entertainment venue offering a wide range of activities from performance arts to live music, dance and drama to conferences, classical music to comedy, one man shows to our annual traditional Christmas pantomime.

In addition to the 745 seat main auditorium we can also provide a full in-house catering service, an excellent Gallery Space, Meeting and Conference Rooms, Bar and Bistro and a Small Hall.

The world famous tenor Luciano Pavarotti sang at The Civic Hall when recording an album with The City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. So impressed were they with the acoustics, the Orchestra recorded two more albums before Symphony Hall, Birmingham was built.
Other international stars including Jimmy Carr, Lee Mead, Rhod Gilbert, Lenny Henry, Billy Ocean, Alan Davies, AC/DC, Al Murray and Ken Dodd have all appeared at the venue.
