The Ewan Bleach Trio @ Crazy Coqs

Ewan Bleach leads an unusual jazz trio centred around an unusual technique that he developed in the lockdown, namely playing clarinet with his left hand whilst simultaneously accompanying himself on the piano with his right. (He will also be playing traditional two-handed clarinet, saxophone and piano)

He will be performing old songs from 20s and 30s America and Britain along with the odd Viennese waltz, perhaps some Martiniquan beguine and original tunes as well.

He is joined by the wildly virtuosic Lewis Taylor on trumpet and vocals and John Kelly providing solid and inventive rhythm on the guitar.
